How do I run/develop Glia on a local host?

In order to run Glia locally in your local host you need to modify your host’s file and point the domain 'clientname.local’ to 127.0.0.1 (loopback address). In order to do so please follow the below instructions.

MacOS & Linux:

# sudo sh -c 'echo "127.0.0.1\tclientname.local\n" >> /etc/hosts'

Windows:

You need to add the following line to the below file:

127.0.0.1 clientname.local

To the file:

C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts.

Also, make sure your Glia Success Manager knows that you would like to use a local environment so that they can allow clientname.local to receive the Glia scripts.

NB Please make sure to change the clientname place holder to a more meaningful name for your organization.
