5/9/2017 Release Notes

Autocomplete (Beta)

Goal:

  • Optimize how fast operators can speak with clients
  • Enable operators to use their mouse less

Overview

Once enabled for a site all of an operator's Lightning Messages will automatically be enabled with autocomplete. After an operator starts typing the first two letters autocomplete will try to fill in the rest. If a match is made it will display the message in a lighter gray. The operator can then use the tab key, or the right arrow key, to accept the match. If the operator ignores the autocomplete, they are free to continue typing as they wish.

Technical Notes:

  • Once autocomplete is enabled for one site that an operator has, it is enabled for the entire account
  • Autocomplete will offer additional completions as the operator types as long as it is letter for letter the same
  • Capitalization does not effect autocomplete

Schedule: Ask your Success Manager to activate during the beta. This feature will be eligible for default release after 6/1/2017.

Prior Chat History (Beta)

Goal:

  • Provide operators with additional context of past engagements
  • Clearly display the date, time and operator of past engagements

Overview

Once enabled for a site, each operator will be able to see all of the chat history for a visitor. The chat history will display the date of the last engagement along with the name of the operator involved.

  • Operators will have access to prior chat history only during that engagement; prior chat history will not be shown in the new engagement log
  • Security Note: Operators will have access to other operator's engagement history only during the engagement

Schedule: Ask your Success Manager to activate during the beta. This feature will be eligible for default release after 6/1/2017
